Hello Everyone!
My name is Shannon Rhodes and I am currently a senior majoring in General Studies with an emphasise in Health Studies and Business. I am very intrested in finding, as well as helping out with HIV/AIDS prevention studies. I also have a passion for finding ways to keep our children healthier, because they are our future. Some of my interest include eating, listening to music, watching TV, reading novels, going to the movies, and talking on the phone.
I don't really have any hobbies, but I absolutely love to spend time with my daughter. She just turned four this past December and she is so much fun. We laugh, we talk, we play, we get our nails done, and so much more. I absolutely love her to pieces even though she can have a bit of a smart mouth sometimes. What I hope to learn most out of this class is how to be a healthier woman. I want to be able to teach my daughter about every aspect of health. Not just the physical side, but also the mental and emotional side of it as well. I look forward to meeting all of you and having a great semester
Hi Shannon, nice to meet you! I have you in a couple of my other classes too :)I really admire how you want to help out and prevent AIDS/HIV. I also agree on how children are our future. Just like you I hope to teach my children the importance of health and its many aspects.
